About David T. Black
David T. Black has been in practice for over 40 years. He is a member of the AICPA and the NJSCPA. He is also an affiliate of the Who’s Who of Executives. David is a Certified Specialist in Retirement Planning and has completed the Quickbooks ProAdvisor and Online ProAdvisor Certification courses.
While David excels at the financial aspects of business, he also remains highly involved in his community and family’s lives. His interests outside of the office help to keep him approachable and relatable to clients.
As a father to three daughters and grandfather to three granddaughters, David has held positions ranging from softball coach to Board of Education member. He currently serves as a member on the Juvenile Conference Committee appointed by the Superior Court of NJ-Essex and The Bridge, a private nonprofit community agency for youth and family counseling. David is also Captain of the West Essex First Aid Squad, for which he volunteers his time to perform as an Emergency Medical Technician. His efforts have helped to save the lives of many and he enjoys assisting in any way he can.
